Introduction
The Near Umbra (also known as; The Dreaming) is a blanket term for the area of existence closest to [Earth Realm] - it is a dream-like place, but one rooted firmly in the reality perceptions of the person entering it (that is to say a Human from Earth Realm will see it much as they see everyday life on Earth Realm (although... not exactly...). Many Sensitives visit The Near Umbra without really understanding how, or that they are even doing so when they dream.
