The Noble Fae

On the surface can be very human.

Beneath and at the extremes the Fae are alien.

Can create and exist in extreme flux of surreal reality and can revel in exposing fragile lesser minds to such pure chaos.

Morally, the Fae share nothing in common with humans at their core. Right and wrong can be reversed and nothing should be assumed off limits. The nicest seeming Fae is fully capable of murder and torture for fun by the most bizarre and imaginable means possible.

In Noble Fae these frightening traits are enhanced.

Houses

Rivalry (always an opposite present traditionally)

In Kings and Queens more so.

High Kings and Queens are another reality, and obviously another as species.

Add to all this... each Fae is unique and will act as such in respect to morality, violence, emotional and empathy and as agenda.
