Blackmetal

Introduction

Blackmetal is a colloquial nickname for any Fae military personage or unit.

"The blackmetal have arrived..."

Description

The name "Blackmetal" is derived from the traditional colour of Fae weapons when they are crafted from materials which avoid iron. Although this isn't such a factor any more, the name has remained. Fae military come in many forms and usually morph by accident, design or a combination of both into "Realm appropriate" manifestations (for example in the deep Umbra they may appear as knights on horseback, and the same personification and individuals may appear as PMC Operatives on Earth Realm). This isn't always the case, and elements of the surreal often creep into uniforms or presentations in particular in prolonged magical conflicts.
