The Edge

Introduction

The edge was traditionally the furthest reaches of The Far Umbra beyond which even Fae found reality hard to deal with. The Edge is where [[The Incurssions] (of The Nothing) began and continued for many, many years before The War in The Dreaming saw an outright invasion. Before this time some creatures chose to patrol The Edge and fight off and or investigate as required when incursions were reported or found; these creatures were known as Edge-Walkers and were fabled heroes before The Grand Empire of Concordia was formed. Many Edge-Walkers were destroyed, killed, and or shattered (see: The Shattering) during The War in the Dreaming but some went on the rise to prominence in The Treaty and the Empire. One such creature was the joined incarnation of The Fox and The Raven, who was a minor Fae Edge-Walker (somewhat but not entirely aligned to The Shadow Court at the beginning of The War in the Dreaming.
