Introduction
The Magpie King was the leader of the Magpie clans during the War of The Dreaming and a prominent rebel who fought against the Emperor afterward.
The Magpie King had many victories but was eventually killed by The Raven and his Host - although at considerable cost.
No single creature has since been able to unite the clans which remained subjugated and fragmented until [The Alliance of Birds].
The Raven considers The Magpie King to have been his greatest post-war in the Dreaming adversary - he still bears wounds from their encounters.
