The Magpie King
Introduction
The Magpie King was the leader of the Magpie clans during the War of The Dreaming and a prominent rebel who fought against The God-Emperor afterward.
The Magpie King had many victories but was eventually killed by The Raven and his Host - although at considerable cost.
No single creature has since been able to unite the clans which remained subjugated and fragmented until The Alliance of Birds.
The Raven considers The Magpie King to have been his greatest post War in the Dreaming adversary - he still bears wounds from their encounters.
