It is a dreamlike construct of the memory of road and travel, traversed by lost souls, bounty hunters, warriors and adventurers alike. It is simply know as The Highway.

Description

The Highway manifests as simple motorway or freeway flanked by signposts and lit by aggressive neon lighting. It is the soul of the modern road and the fastest way to get from anywhere in the umbra to the heart of The Endless City. It is in effect an uber trod accessible from many on ramps throughout the realms. If you need to get to the City in a hurry, you need to step over (or drive over...) onto The Highway. In this way, it is almost a realm in its own right.

No one party or faction controls The Highway. Indeed it is a chaotic and dangerous place travelled by agents of all the powers, and free agents alike. Common elements to be found on The Highway include; The Endless City "Bastard Squad" (a, or perhaps, THE police of The Endless City), Clan motorcycle gangs, Host troop movements, couriers of various descriptions and bounty hunters bringing their quarry home.
