Alice

Introduction

Alice is a human girl and a hero of The Otherside.

She fought in The War in the Dreaming on the side of the Treaty.

Specifically, she served under the Queen of Rats during the siege of Wonderland and the City of Hearts.

Alice is an extremely powerful human/sensitive warrior; perhaps the most powerful recorded since the age of magic - as a comparison, she is on par if not over with the heros of greek myth in that she can hold her own with most creatures she has encountered in the Fae realms, and on the Otherside in general. This is for several reasons; 1) she has been locked into a duel existence within the Dreaming since a very young age, 2) her first experience with the Otherside was with the notoriously difficult to cope with "Wonderland Realm" which was indeed hostile to her at first 3) she fought during the War of the Dreaming for one of the most powerful Fae High Queens, The Queen of Hearts, and has been afforded many gifts by The House of The Rat as a result. It is fair to say that Alice is a fairly unstable individual when not on mission. It is also important to note that Alice is no longer a child and is in fact elderly by standard human measurements; however, she has been afforded longevity by the Fae for her various services and results of various high level quests she has embarked upon for the courts and subsequently the Empire. She is a loyalist. In many Fae circles, outside of the nobility (sometimes even in it) Alice strikes fear into commoners - she is renown for being immune to many tricks and cantrips and for her battlefield prowess. She is the result of placing a highly sensitive individual into a pressure cooker and that individual surviving. She is, in a word, a death machine of magic and armed skill. Approach with caution.

It is very interesting to note that Alice and The Raven are sworn to the same High Queen.
